Division Inequality

It seems more often than not that divisions are stacked. For instance, the second and third teams, record wise, will often be in the same division, and often even way out pace the leaders from the other conference. Is there a way to more equally distribute talent? If the best teams are always stacked in the same divisions, and the new playoff rules aren't going to be implemented, then it would seem there should be a better way to more evenly distribute the teams.

The new playoff setup has started this week. Otherwise, the division seeding is done randomly.

This is obviously a complicated one, but far too often the 3 best teams are in the same division, take 3 playoff spots (2 wildcards) then knock each other out and only have one of them get promoted. Not ideal.

Isn't there gonna be an update to the new playoff system soon, though? I may be wrong, but I reckon that would pretty much fix the promotion issue here.

This early in the year

It's too hard to seed the leagues, especially the lower levels, because most teams are still being constructed. I know that I have a team in Iron that has acquired all of the following diamond cards since opening day:
Brandon Nimmo
R.A. Dickey
Sid Fernandez
Marty McManus
Francisco Liriano
Tim Lincecum
Zack Britton
Jimmy Key
Kevin Kiermaier
Elston Howard
Curt Schilling
Gabby Hartnett
Mark Prior
Roger Maris

That's probably close to 2/3 of the total roster value of my active team, up over 100,000 PP from the start of the season. It's hard to know, because McManus was a tournament reward and so far nobody who has won him has sold his card. There is a card offered for 69K but that's probably bogus.
