Accessing mail/news

Game freezes when clicking mail/news. Shows processing tooltip then arrow then back to processing. Can't click anywhere else and can't even close window (have to go to Task Manager and shut down OOTP 23)

I don't think I've ever heard of this happening before, so I'm honestly at a bit of a loss as to what might be going on here.

Maybe if we can get a copy of your trace file as described below, that might have something useful to see where things are actually freezing.

This is common in 22. Circle spins but finally gets to the mail after 5-10 seconds
