clearing cache

I know it was posted another thread, but I'm not finding it easily: how do you clear the cache to get the images to update to their current form? Two of the golds that I pulled in my loyalty packs are showing silver with the incorrect rating.

Perfect Team Settings (gear icon on the right)
Troubleshooting dropdown menu -> Reset Caches

When searching for the clear cache function, which I eventually found, I hit the "reset" button. I also hit the "clear live start data folder". One of them made my interface go to a kind of grey back ground, not as dark as I had. Now, I can't get the dark back, even if I cycle through all three settings. I just get the grey. How do I get the darker background back? I don't have a screen shot of the darker one, just the current one.

I read about needing to clear the cache so I did. Since then, I cannot turn on pack opening animations and I cannot purchase points from the store. I tried uninstalling the game but that changed nothing
