Minor League Players Not Moving to Injured List

I have my minor league coaches configured to set minor league lineups. In past versions they would also move injured players to the IL and bring them back. This isn't happening. I'm playing a MLB league with current rosters.

The minor league IL is handled by the same settings as minor leagues promotions and demotions, since that's generally speaking meant to handle minor league roster moves.

The most concerning piece of this issue is that if there are injuries across multiple levels on a given day, you won't see it unless you cycle through all your minor league teams. Otherwise, you risk being shorthanded at some levels of the system. I'd say this is a pretty significant issue.

It should be handled by lineups/depth charts/pitching staffs, shouldn't it? Promotions/Demotions is looking to change the level of the player based on their ratings (and performance?), whereas the IL is relevant to the current level of the player (and therefore requires a lineup change).

Yes, this is how its always been. I have never used the AI promotions/demotions option, just lineups and depth charts. The AI managers have always handled IL moves with just this option. I have no interest in the AI handling promotions and demotions, so if IL is now rolled into this setting, then I suggest not doing that or making it a separate setting.

I have to say Matt...this is not ideal for people using roster size and service time limits at the minor league level. You may want to separate this function in the future.

Here is a proposal of mine however, that would make it a moot point however.
