"Potential Security Risk"

High their!

Today I received the email inviting download of the official released version. However, when I clicked on the Windows "server 1" link (or "server 2") my Firefox downloader gave me a warning of "Potential Security Risk". I told it to go ahead, and after several minutes of downloading it discarded the file, saying it was an unsafe file.

Just now I went to your regular website and did the download from there, and it started out just fine. But then after the download completed, the installer stopped with a message that the binary was corrupted or had a virus.

The download of the Beta the other day, also from an email received from OOTP, worked when I downloaded. I can continue using that until I figure out the current problem.

I am left to think that something very unusual has occurred, but not something I can diagnose. I expected to see other messages from customers, but if there are any my quick search didn't turn them up. Any ideas?

Thank you all for your replies, and the sanity check. I didn't get back to this until just now, but I repeated my steps to download the Windows binary and this time everything went off without a hitch. Same browser and everything. Impossible to know whether it was a glitch on their end which they quietly fixed, or some random "internet thing" no one on either end had control over. I spent too long in the software business to get very worked up about a minor problem like this. Thanks again, fellow kids, and how do you do.
