I just read article that Houston is doing this and 5 other teams also has this
Curious of your thoughts of this being done??

My thoughts? I wish I were a player like deGrom so I could tell my team if we're expected to wear those on a day I pitch, I won't pitch.

It's a 9 hour drive for me to see the Cubs. Normally pay for some pretty good seats and take in two games. If they're wearing these I would consider the whole day a waste of time.

I think it was Washington I saw wear there's yesterday. Honestly it looked like they forgot to paint the batting helmets. I guess they thought having grey primer on them was enough.

The closest thing I could connect City Connect unis with would be a trash barrel.

If along with the MLB license and alternates these come with OOTP23? I'll delete them.

Nothing but an eyesore. Little League through high school team's in small town Iowa have better unis than these.

Awesome! The Nats ones are gorgeous. There's not enough slate grey in sports uniforms and the cherry-blossom pink is fantastically well done, it's light and airy, literally like early April here in DC (when it's not raining...)

And having actual detail on a uniform is something that should've been done 10y ago. TVs have been big enough and have enough DPI to show stuff like that for years, you don't need solid primaries and pinstripes that just give you moire patterns on your old Toshiba CRT with the bent rabbit ears anymore.

Last years Red Sox ones can go DIAF, they were boring asf. Let me hit you with a WALL OF BRIGHT CANARY YELLOW! Whomever okayed that idea needs to be dragged out into the street and shot. then dragged to a church of some ancient, old, dead god for resurrection, then shot again.

Honestly not big on alternate uniforms in the first place and i just learned about these City connect uniforms this morning and still not a big fan of that either as to me in real life its just an attempt to generate cash

I love the DC jersey as well. We live near the park so we walked over to the team store to pick up some shirts and hats last week.

They said that there are still supply chain issues so be sure to keep an eye out for the items you want as they will likely have a limited supply which could go quickly. I got the last t-shirt in my size. Another guy asked them just a couple of minutes later and they said that they weren’t sure if they would be getting more for at least a few weeks.

Most of the CC uniforms are just dumb and unnecessary. A couple - Washington, ChiSox, maybe Houston are great. I would use them if someone made them in the game.

I haven't seen the Astros version yet but the only one i disliked was the Cubs. Because they are the Cubs. i like loud and interesting jerseys and for the most part i dislike home whites.

The cap is great, and I'd be fine with that as an everyday cap. Love the cap logo. The orange cap button is long overdue. The Colt .45s caps and the original navy Astros caps had an orange button, and I like the way it stands out. The seldom-worn, orange-billed navy caps really need the orange button, too.
