Seems like it is for Pritchard. Be careful though because he also seems like the type to boil your pet bunny if you put him on irrevocable waivers. ;-)

Hah I recently had Satchel Paige tell me I was a shrewd negotiator or some such, after I probably offered him too much to sign with the 1938 Phillies. And after that, he still hasn’t signed a contract! I’ve found the players are not above using supposed interest by other teams to extract more money. As IRL. Also, occasionally I hear back from an agent rather than the player himself. The agents always seem obnoxious and confrontational. As in “my client [who hit .250 in AA last year] is a major league player and refuses to sign a minor league contract”. Okay, dude. Your guy will end up in the minors, no thanks to you. But again, as IRL.
