Roster Error 1973-74 Historical

Hi Jeff, I think I may have found an issue with the Montreal Canadiens 1973-74 roster. I am using end of the season rosters and the Canadiens have Ken Dryden on their roster even though he actually did not play at all for that season (he decided to skip the season during training camp after contract dispute).

Hopefully Jeff will see this thread soon, but yeah, I recall hearing that was a highly publicized dispute at the time. Interesting how the Canadiens were able to patch things up with Dryden, but not with another high profile goalie (named Roy) all those years later.

His NHL rights were still owned by Montreal that season, so he still starts the game as Montreal property, and at the moment there's no way to differentiate between a guy holding out and one that e.g. spent the whole season in the minors. We're talking about introducing pre-set injuries/suspensions for historical seasons in 9, so we may be able to do something about that next year, like just suspend him for the entire year so he comes back as he did in 1974.
