Goalies ignored by Calder Trophy?

In my team is a 20-years old goalie rookie, that is nominated for Vezina Trophy.
But he is ignored by Calder Trophy.

This isnt normal, isnt it?

The goalie stats are good, but so are Safarik's, and he's clearly a much better player overall. Unless one of the other two nominees is particularly bad, this doesn't look unusual.

Isnt Vezina Trophy much higher ranked as a Calder Trophy?

I mean, when some goalie is between top 3, then my logic says, he should be also between top 3 rookies. But its only my point of view.

Now I'm curious. What were the stats for the two other skaters who were nominated for the Calder?

The only time I can recall this happening irl was to King Henrik -- but that was an unusual year because Ovi and Crosby were rookies.
