Weaker draft classes after a couple of years

I have been asking about this for a while now. I play for the most part 10 seasons per save. The reason why i get bored after a while is that the draft classes gets weaker after a while. In the first season is a really good draft class but after a while, 1st round has 2.5-5.0 potential players goes and after that, it's just 1.0 - 2.5. Why is always the first draft so much stronger that the other drafts? I loose my immersion because of this unfortunately.

This problem exists in historical mode too but I understand why since you guys only add players that was drafted in real life. But sometimes, there is not enough players in those historical drafts. It's a shame really but I hope you guys can take a look at it.

The upcoming draft class is one of the easiest ones for us to scout. Between our team, volunteers and other resources, we do our best to put together and idea of where we think guys are going to fall in the draft.

The following years though is tough because we're trying to predict 14 and 15 year olds.

After that, it eventually becomes AI draft classes, and you're going to see the AI create players of all different skill levels. Players can out preform the skill level you might see come but at the same time you don't want to league full of all five star players because that's not fun either. There has to be some sort of balance there. In truth too, there's years where there's just not a lot of quality prospects in the draft. You need to have some of those years every once in awhile.

And that I can understand. However, in 10 years, there are maybe 2 good drafts and then 8 weaker drafts. I have not seen the AI create that many good players for the draft. Who knows, maybe it gets better after 15-20 years but it feels kind of unrealistic. I don't know how many prospects you guys add yourself but in 2025-2029, it's still very weak even though the players, I guess, has only been created by AI.

The drafts should have like a template that the game follows for the draft. 1st round: 3.0-5.0, 2nd-7th round 3.0-1.5. So maybe not a whole lot of 5 star guys but deeper in the later rounds. Right now, round 5-7 is 80% filled with overaged players.
