Best settings for an accurate historical replay

Before diving headfirst into a replay I was wondering if anyone had a screenshot they could post of what would be the ideal initial settings for a 1976 replay using real lineups and transactions? I tried it once before and after setting up everything got to my first game and the lineup was not accurate. The roster was correct but the starter and lineups didn't match the original boxscore. Thanks for any assistance!!

Dumb question but... Did you check if the games were scheduled the correct day? It happened to me in 1974 and in those cases nothing work correctly with the historical lineup, since than I always check the season opening day at BBref and do the correction in the option area (season start date).

In my experience, I've seen none of these issues. I just imported the 1976 season using the Historical Wizard, chose historical lineups and transactions, and simmed the season. Everything looks fine.

Thanks to you both. I actually figured out what happened. I played out spring training and in doing so some of my starters for opening day were fatigued. When I went in and reset fatigue everything worked itself out.

i don't think fatigue is a factor in historical replay......the historical lineups override it.
