1910 league in which I can't hit homeruns

Hello there. Just a quick question. I have a historical league and I am currently in 1915 and I have changed the league total modifiers to year 2000 so there is supposed to be 5693 homeruns as per the league totals stated. I have also locked that league total in. Ever since I have locked that in the most homeruns I have seen is around 18-20 for the top players. Is there something else I need to do to make the homerun totals go up??

I was thinking maybe there is something wrong with my modifier number. My homerun shows 5693 and the modifier next to it is 999.000
From looking at the other posts on here I thought those modifers were always like .9 or 1.15. No idea how it got to 999.000. I erased the modifiers and selected the year 2000 again. It now says 5693 and it shows a 1.00 next to it which looks way better. Tried to sim the next season and now the highest homerun player had 7 haha unreal

Is that what is causing the problem?

Isn't there a calculate modifiers button or something like that? Try it and see if anything changes.

What I tried to do is reset the whole modifier thing. Then put the year to the year 2000 and it showed 5693 and it shows 1.000 as the modifier next to it. Thought I had then solved my problem. Simmed the season though and it made it even worse. League leader had 7 homeruns haha

Finally got it figured out. Babe in his rookie year just hit 71 homeruns and 207 rbis so it seems like the offense will be ok

Please explain what you did. Someone else might have the same question.

What I did was go into the league settings, stats and ai, I restored the defaults. After that I then selected my year for league totals as the year 2000 and then I locked it in.

What I also did was go to my team settings menu, edit ballpark, then I put my homeruns LHB and RHB to both 4.00. I thought changing the ballpark homerun thing might have been the thing that helped it the most BUT I just checked my ballpark right now and the homerun left and right numbers are now no longer 4.00 so they changed them back. I think it must have changed when I moved to yankee stadium a few years later. My home runs LHB is now 1.187 and RHB is 1.114 so I guess the league settings for 2000 is what did it because my team is scoring way too much now so I am not going to chnage it to 4.00 like I did before since that will make the homeruns crazy.

Babe has got anywhere from 53 to 83 for homeruns which is probably just a bit too high but I am willing to sarcrafice his crazy numbers to boost up everyone else. Every player on my team now gets at least 15 homeruns and 4 around the 40 homerun amount. 337 homeruns as a team. I wanted to move it down a bit but I will just keep the settings locked in so anyone coming in future will have the same type of environment so I can compare the players from different years.

I read somewhere park factors reject values over 1.25.

Park factors change the relationship between the parks not the totals in the game. What one park gains the rest will lose.
