Now i want to try this:

Slovak only NHL team

That means:

- all players on active roster should be Slovak nationality.

- all free agent signs should be only Slovak players.

- all drafted players must be Slovak players.
Here a little exception. If there isnt anymore Slovak player to draft, it
can be drafted also another nationality. But only some exotic ice-hockey
nationality.

2025/2026 season

At the beginning, here an active Arizona Coyotes roster. Its not Slovak only roster, but in some season it will be done.

This is a really interesting idea... Basically a national team playing in the guise of a regular club team. I think you'll have a lot of fun with this one, but it could be frustrating if some other team drafts the last Slovak just ahead of you.

That, and what constitutes an 'exotic' ice-hockey country? Just wondering...

Not even Norway, Belarus... Even consider if Slovenia will qualify.

Forwards lines are almost set.

But it is hard to find Defensman and goalie.

Only 2 canadien players on the roster.And they are UFAs after this season, so it is possible, the next one will be first Slovak only.

But its hard. Forwards are ok, but Defense and Goalies are issue. The isnt any top quality players there. And so there are too many holes in our defense.
Also the draft doesnt generate much Slovak prospects. Look for 2029 midterm rankings.

Jozef Petro, 19 years old D, looks very promising. Was drafted 3th overall, but his mock draft suggested, he should be taken after 100.
Exactly the position, what my team needs.

Finally, some top ranged prospect from Slovakia. But im affraid, i will not draft him. My team looks, he could battle for playoff position. Will try to do a trade in the future.

2033/2034 Season

Its done. We have a full Slovak roster. Some players, that was there, are missing now, but we have another.
Big issues are goalies. Ups... There are only with 1 star available.

To this time, not a single playoff. But that means, Slovak national team is good. On the other side, not so good, as USA, Canada, Russia ... Still loosing to them. Quarterfinals is always stop.

I have a save with an expansion team named London Red Bulls with the basic rule that I can only have players from outside the big 6 hockey nations. So I know the struggle

We see a significant improvement in defense. Also goalies played well. At the end, only 2 points behind playoffs.

Some stars, but overall there is little depth. Im curious, how it will go, when the 2022 - 2024 draft class will retire.

2041/2042 - First time in Playoffs!

Was also curious, how it will affect Slovak national team on WCH. Fortunately, they made it to playoffs also without Top Slovak players.

Btw. there is a new Nation in the top level - Australia. But they lost all games.
