150 game schedules- why isn't it 162?

Hello everyone,

I am playing a historical league that I had started in 1996. In the 2022 season somehow the games played changed for my team to 150 games but everyone had different games played, some had 151 others like 149. I thought to myself the game somehow did this for fun due to how their is a work stoppage that may change the number of games played this season however now I am in 2023 and it seems my team will play 154 games while some others will play 150.

I have already gone to league settings and then options and for schedule settings it says 162 games per season so I am curious what may be going on.

Check to see if you have turned off interleague games.

Hello Brad,

Hmm this is odd. My instinct was to tell you it was on because inter league games were being played but I just looked at my teams schedule and no interleague games are on the schedule but when I go to options on league settings interleague play is check marked as enabled

If you're in the pre season try the generate new schedule feature and see what happens.

I think the game has trouble generating an interleague schedule for 30 teams and 162 games and 15 teams per league because I think i saw this problem too.

CubFan, there are over 20 years of 30 team six divisions schedules in the schedules file including as scheduled and as played. Pick one and load it manually into your game.

Or pick one of the schedules ILY_BGN_G162 that has 30 teams noted at the end. Check to be sure each division has five teams. File name will include SL1D1T5, SL1D2T5 where SL is the subleague (AL or NL) D is the Division number and T is the number of teams in that Division.

The game being unable to generate a schedule for a league format that has existed over 20 years is a problem way too serious for an "Oh, I think it's broken, oh well..." response from a member of the establishment.
