Delta City Tide
I'm in the process of trying to create a modern day fictional world using mostly obscure teams and fictional logos found online. One of my favorites, the Delta City Tide, is based on a hypothetical logo concept. Unfortunately my cap/jersey game is pretty lackluster at best. Would anyone be willing to take a shot at recreating the jersey? Please and thank you!

In case anyone is interested, here was my attempt. I think the caps came out ok but I'm not 100% in love with the jerseys.

Solid work, and nice job doing it yourself! Fictional unis like this are always handy to have for minor league teams or random projects. And I've started more than one game based on someone's uniform project here that's inspired some particular idea when I saw it or happened to fit an idea I was already considering.
On the road (? "DC") jerseys, you might try varying the stripe colors. I don't use unis with different-color sides so I don't have any thoughts about the style otherwise. If you are designing a league, you might think of what rules if any apply to the unis. Like, home team (or road team) always wears white, etc. In any case unless you have a strong idea about this team I'd vary the coloring on the away jersey if you are making one. I always liked the Orlando Thunder unis so navy-on-chartreuse would be my pick but it can look a little garish as a main color. Keep going!

Sorry, not talented enough to post my version.
Yours is very well done... love the logos and the Tide lettering. I would suggest that you replace the green with a light blue... water to me is light blue. Make an alternate away jersey using the full name Delta City. Am alternate cap with DC would be good, too... IMO letters show up better on game screens than fancy images... especially at the small pixel size (50 x 50 pixels)... also letters look show up better on caps IMO. Thought I would give these a shot. I made you two home and two away uniforms.

Wow these look amazing, thanks so much!
Also, thanks for the advice on my original versions from everyone. I'll keep working on some of my unis to one day return the favor. |
