PING: txranger - EC's IPA Project
Sorry, folks for multiple threads.
To help the graphics designers keep track of their work, they asked for separate threads. txranger, thanks for helping me update the Islandian Pro Alliance teams. Use this thread to post the ones you are doing for me. This will make it easier for me and the OOTP Community to download them. Let me know here in this thread if you need more information about the teams... hope the instructions and requests are not overkill. I was only expecting you to create new primary and secondary logos for me... if you want to do some jerseys and caps for each team, that would be even better... just keep them in the traditional styles... plain and simple designs show up better in the game, especially on the secondary logos. So everything in one place, here is a repost of the email information I sent to you.
Thank you for helping me out. In general, logos can be square, circular or any form you like... I prefer both town name and nickname on Primary Logos, but only if you agree... do it your way... whatever works well for the design you use... on the Secondary Logos I prefer a Letter(s) or Mascot Image... do both if you don't mind... it is always good to have alternate choices... I try to use whatever shows up best on game screens... you have always done them very well for me... great design, colors, good contrast and clarity. Most of all, do them the way you feel led to do them... I trust your judgment... take your time... do them at your convenience... no rush at all. I need Primary Logos and Secondary Logos for these teams: San Alejo Monteneros (Mountaineers in Spanish)... if you don't mind, only use the Brown and Sand colors like the original logo... the mountains are in a dry desert with no snow on them... you have already done this team... hope it is easy to fix and take out the Blue color and snow... Brown and Sand mountains are preferred... no problem if it is a lot of work... San Alejo will suddenly get snow on the mountains... I try to be flexible when someone is doing me a favor... please forgive the pickiness. Colors: Dark Brown (150,26,26) - Sand/Tan (245,226,180) Eastshore Cotton Kings Colors: Green (0,115,115) - Orange (242,149,22) Belle Plaine Musketeers... cephasjames did a wonderful job on the jerseys and caps... very much pleased with them... I just prefer a less "rakish" style image on the logos... I will show you a less flamboyant style in post #4 with Oxford and Ranford. Colors: Purple (140,64,197) - Orange (241,143,47) Turon Typhoons Colors: Blue/Green (65,184,208) - Green (0,96,64) Hartsdale Hellcats Colors: Red (255,0,0) - Dark Brown (128,0,0) Oxford Red Caps (caps are like mortarboards at graduation... not baseball caps... it's a university town whose team colors are red) Colors: Red (237,0,0) - White (255,255,255) Also need some logos cleaned up a little... the borders on them look choppy with white pixels... look closely at the photos I sent you... you can see the edges are not smooth... they don't look bad on the game screens, but they don't have smooth borders like your work... no problem if you can't help me here. I think I can get someone on the OOTP Mods Forum to clean them up for me. I will give you the team colors just in case you want to rework and make new logos for these teams, too. Sligo Rovers (knuckler did the original... you may have access to it)... the Rover mascot is a dog... knuckler did a coat of arms with a dog, baseball and glove on the logo. Colors: Red (255,0,0) - Black (0,0,0) - Gray (178,178,178) Arlon Champions Colors: Red/Maroon (128,0,64) - Yellow (255,214,89) Chicopee Braves Colors: Red (202,0,0) - Yellow/Orange (247,167,73) Kenwood Wildcats Colors: Blue (0,0,171) - White (255,255,255) Ranford Bulls Colors: Red (127,17,16) - Orange (255,170,1) I don't need jerseys and caps for these teams... I have some very good ones already... many of them done by you, knuckler and some other very skilled graphics designers. But you indicated you may do some jerseys and caps, too... not necessary, but that would be great, too. Thanks for your help... much appreciate it. Here are the previews of the teams I need to rework... mainly the primary and secondary logos... I already have some fine jerseys and caps, many of them beautifully created by you and knuckler years ago... no problem, if you want to match up the jerseys and caps with your new logos.

Also need Primary and Secondary for the Oxford Red Caps, Ranford Bulls and Belle Plaine Musketeers.
Here is the type of Musketeer I prefer for the primary logo... the secondary logo would not have Musketeers on it... I like the secondary logos to be simple and less cluttered or less fancy, so it will show up at the 50 x 50 pixel size. Last edited by Eugene Church; 01-14-2022 at 10:55 AM. |

Here are the logos that are pixelated on the edges... notice that the borders have white pixels.... clean them up if you like or create new ones.
Prefer simpler designs for the Secondary logos... just the team mascot by itself... or use the team letters if they look good by themselves. Last edited by Eugene Church; 01-14-2022 at 11:28 AM. |

Brilliantly done... thank you very much.
Appreciate you reworking San Alejo and removing the snow. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the IPA project. |

All 3 sets are so well done... love the San Alejo mountains with the M part of the hills... cotton ball with the crown on Eastshore is excellent... and the Musketeer sword and image is just what I wanted.
Appreciate the alternate designs, too. Thanks for making the Islandian Pro Alliance graphics so good. Last edited by Eugene Church; 01-17-2022 at 11:06 PM. |

The Eastshore and Turon updates will really look good for the IPA playoffs, which I will soon begin to play.
. They both look very good in on the game screens. |

Snazzy work on the Hartsdale Hellcats... the logo says it all.
Very well done, tex... it captures the essence of the team nickname. Last edited by Eugene Church; 01-30-2022 at 07:12 PM. |
