Injury list question

Hi, I am playing the Detroit Tigers in a replay of the 1967 season - manager only. I do not understand the injury situation. My best player, Al Kaline, has been on the IL for a month and the report says INJ time left = 0. And yet my AI manager won't bring him in. See the attached screen shot and can somebody please explain to me what the difference is between "IL time left (255)" and "INJ time left (0)". thanks much.

You have "real life historical lineups", or whatever it's called, selected. When a player missed time in real life they are listed as injured for 255 days. Whenever Kaline came back in the real season he will come back and be in the lineup in your game.

Kaline will be activated in one sim-day, on 7/28/67.
