OOTP users think very little of whales

When an expensive card gets released, whales go out and get it no matter how many millions of PP it takes. So when Pedro Peak gets released, PT users think so little of the whales that they way over price the 1999 Pedro to fool them.

I guess rich players are thought of as dumb, by replacing the original with a fake only worth around 50K?

Yeah, that's just someone being immensely stupid and trying to trick people - bush league move to try to do that.

It's only immensely stupid as long as nobody buys it. In fact, as there's nothing lost even if it fails, not even then. Other than the mild contribution towards a business model I consider exploitative, I have no problem with it. It's not those being exploited likely to be 'tricked'.
