No team morale spending

What does this mean? Almost all of my team is unhappy because of this. Anyone know how to fix it?

If you click on 'Team Finances' (at the start of a month), then look under the 'Team Morale' heading, you'll see a 'Player Happiness Adjustment' where you can add points.

I mean, it's definitely a real thing. Players don't like getting treated poorly or feeling like their getting nickel and dimed. The Coke scene with David Justice in Moneyball illustrates it pretty well I think.

"Pizza parties" is not what that's intended to represent. Teams, particularly at the highest level, spend huge amounts of money on keeping their players comfortable - charter flights, good hotels, training facilities, dressing room amenities and so on. If two teams are traveling from Illinois to Florida for games, who do you think is happier with their environment, the NHL players taking an all-business-class charter flight from Chicago to Tampa and staying in a 4-star hotel, or the SPHL guys riding a bus from Moline to Pensacola and staying at the Days Inn?

fair, "team morale" might not be the best term for that, there typically is a budget line item for "accommodations" or something along those lines in companies ive worked in that had similar needs (travel/lodging/comfort).

might make a little more sense.

It did take me a minute to figure out where to go to address it, but it makes sense to me. Although I will say the free breakfast at the Days Inn in Pensacola is second to none. Can't get enough silver dollar pancakes.

My game has stopped giving me news notifications for the monthly budget so I often am missing due to the game simming past the 1st of each month. Is there an option or something I'm missing that has this disabled?

Monthly Budget shows up as the Continue button on the 1st of the month.
