Question: What is keeping you from joining an online league?

what feature is missing, what community problems need to be addressed?

If im correct, you must upload and download a file to play. That a no-go for me.

luckily not any more.
all file transfer is handled in game.

but it was a huge sticking point for people forever.

Things i dislike about many of the leagues i have played over the 11 years on OOTP.
1. Sim schedule - I hate quick season sims
2. I get stuck with teams that are depleted of talent
3. GM's overvalue talent - Offering me a 38 yo Jose Offerman for Larry Walker.
4. All of the above in 1 league.
5. It's too time consuming - While over the last 2 years i should have joined a league as i have had the time to invest in a league I don't anymore.

yea that can be tough. if you dont have a league thats pretty balanced, and has a slower sim schedule, its easy to be "left behind".

Here is a brief list:
1 - Similar to OOTP baseball, it appears most of the focus is on topics outside of Online league play. I reviewed the FHM8 release and no mention of online leagues that I could find.

2 - I've always struggled enjoying simulation sports games that try to replicate fast moving sports such as basketball and hockey.

interesting, id love to see you expand on your first point.
the online system is indeed basically the same as its been since FHM 6 (aside from now we dont have to trade zip files around...).

what is missing that you are looking for?
