FHM8 Hotfix 8.4.71 is Now Available

A new hotfix update for Franchise Hockey Manager 8, version 8.4.71, has just been released to fix a couple of serious issues that remained after the release of version 8.4.69.

To apply the update:

-If you are playing the FastSpring version, just download the setup file and install it over your current installation. There is no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course.
-If you are playing the Steam version, the game will auto-update if you have that option active. If you don't see the update in your Steam update queue, you may need to exit and restart your Steam client.
-If you are playing the Epic Store or App Store versions, the game will auto-update once those stores have approved the update we've sent them. Normally that happens fairly promptly, but occasionally it can be delayed by a day or more.

Your existing savegames will be compatible with the updated game.

Changes:

-the previous fix to the import historical team function will now prevent the game from crashing if the edit team option is selected or the game is manually saved immediately after the import (rather than requiring that the game be reloaded first)
-changes to arena capacity and arena quality will no longer be reverted one season after the change is made

Forget it. I restarted my PC and the patche was there to download.

Both links seem to be for the Windows version, neither for Mac.

Sorry, but I'm still getting an .exe Windows-like file from the Mac link even after clearing the cache and restarting my browser.
