Training Camp game rosters

I apologize if this is something that has been raised by others, but just in case:

When one is playing in GM-only role, the computer rarely plays prospects in exhibition games. It would be helpful/fun for the GM to be able to override the coach during training camp, or set some kind of a veteranrospect ratio. An option to have the dressed goalies switch after 30 minutes (just a tick box) would allow the chance for more evaluation.

It works for me if I recall everyone contracted to the team. My coach will play rookies and lesser players. The problem is that the other teams in the league not controlled by me will always ice their best roster because they don't recall their players for training camp.

How do you invite someone to training camp? I tried to right click on a free agent and didnt have that option available to me, is it only available from a certain screen?

It's only available if you're playing as an NHL team, or the top-level league in a custom game. Were you in a different league?

I was playing in the NHL! Just approaching the start of my second season and I'm a little more experienced with the menu's etc so i'll give it another try now.
