I Can't Figure Out Staff Cohesion

Notice my manager Joe Girardi...he has a normal personality....yet he struggles with two other staff members (bench & 3B Coaches) who are also listed as having a "normal" personality.

Does this make ANY sense? This is one of those "half baked" features I frequently complain about.

I wish you could disable staff cohesion and keep coaches on. I feel your pain it's too much micromanaging for my taste.

People often struggle with those who have similar personalities to themselves.

Your staff overall is content, so it seems to not be a major issue.

Sure, the feature could be a little more in-depth, but I also don't think it plays a very large part in any results...it is just something to help the game with some staff movement.

You can in the global settings. There's multiple options relating to coaching staffs that you can adjust.

For a season and a half, my coaching staff has been feuding.
This despite a 92-70 record in 2035 -- although, we failed to make the playoffs -- and now 58-40 a few days after the All-Star break in 2036.
So, obviously, it has not had much affect on team performance.
I just tend not to pay too much attention to it.

I like the idea as a feature...I feel it needs to be refined, and consistent.

The problem for me is I look at features such as these...(and I am not just pointing this one out individually) is they look good on paper, but if they aren't implemented with full detail, they just feel half baked. I guess it's when I go and get a FM save going, it's sort of when I realize it.
