Bench Minors and Coincidental Minors

Jeff, I would like to thank you once again for answering my questions.

Bench Minors:
Any chance in the future the game will say what the bench minor is for? Example.. Too many men on the ice etc...

Coincidental Minors:
The game only shows one penalty being called. I have to go to the Box Scores to see what the other penalty is.
I only know another penalty has been called, because both teams take the ice a man down.

Here is a penalty example. The Penalty is a fighting major, but game and play-by-play only show 1 Penalty being called.

Box score shows Paul Coffey got the other major fighting penalty.

Agree.

It would be helpful if the fighting penalties showed who the two players were.

Along the lines of the bench minors, it would be nice to know what the unsportsman like conduct penalties are for. There are way too many of them (compared to a real game) so if we could at least know what they are for it would help with immersion and make the penalty seem less monotonous.

Here is an example of coincidental minor Penalties.
Without looking at the box score, I would never know the second Penalty was called on Joe Mullen for Slashing.

Also look at the clock. The Game clock was stopped at 6:15 because of the Penalties.
The Box score shows penalties at 13:43 or 6:17 left game time.

There is a 2 second discrepancy on when these penalties occurred.
This error happens quite often. See above, Major Penalty example has the exact same time discrepancy.

Concerning certain Bench Penalties.
Some Bench Penalties such as, "Too many men on the ice", the coach gets to pick who gets to serve the Bench penalty. I know it has to be a player who was on the ice at the time of the penalty.

Is this rule part of the game, because I have never been asked the above question.

Yeah, the popups are a holdover from the classic engine. We need to do some upgrading on those at some point, but there are some other things that need doing before we get to those.

I'm seeing penalties in my game with the players name and the penalty time saying 0 mins with the word Bench next to them. I'm guessing this is a bug if it hasn't been reported already.
