Custom Game Crash

I created an NHL+AHL custom game and changed the name of one NHL team. As I previously mentioned in another post, this unaffiliates all teams with that club but I decided to move on anyway. However, the game crashes now when I reach the preseason and it won't let me move past there.

Can you upload the save (instructions here)? I think we'll need to have a look at that to see exactly what's going wrong.

Thanks, got it. Crashing for me too; the Laval-Belleville game in the AHL seems to be the source of the crash, but I haven't been able to figure out why yet; getting the AI to fix the rosters doesn't seem to solve it. We're going to have to take a closer look at this one.

That makes some sense since Laval became unaffiliated when I changed the Montreal Canadiens' name

I also created NHL+AHL plus Custom League(28 team 4 divisions) and it won't let me play past Sept 22nd before crashing.

I tried playing the same set up with another computer that I seldom use and got the same results so it isn't a memory issue(as mentioned in Quick Questions thread).

I also couldn't edit the custom league before finally starting up the game but was able to edit after finishing the set up(using the teams that were assigned originally).

So maybe it's an editing problem that is causing the crash(as mentioned above),

I didn't try playing the set up(without any editing) too see if it would play after Sept. 22nd too see if it still crashes.

Where did they come up with an AHL schedule with Colorado Eagles missing in the previous build?

My guess would be the game generated a schedule
