Financial Settings: Average Player Payroll

In the process of converting a file from 20 -> 22 and have come across what appears to be a bug in the League Settings -> Financial Settings -> Average Player Payroll calculator.

The same settings across each player quality tier yields the same number in OOTP 20 and 21, but is FAR off in OOTP 22.

Screenshots of the financial page in OOTP 20, 21, and 22.

As you can see, in OOTP 20 and 21, the average player payroll is north of $200 million, yet in OOTP 22, using the same settings, the average player payroll is being listed at just $112,900,000.

Is this a cosmetic calculating error or something bigger that could cause issues with salary/payroll?....Or of course, am I greatly missing some user error?

Thank you!

Note: This is OOTP 22.9 Build 76, Mac App Store edition

There was a change to internal calculations, so that on import, the "average salaries" would be adjusted to keep the salary scale close to before, which increased the values.

Basically, if in OOTP20 or 21, your "Star Salary" was 20M, then in 22, it should be set to about 28M. The top few categories should be roughly 40% higher than before, and the lower ones more like 25% higher. Previously, "typical salaries" were never really typical, so we re-aligned them to match better. It does mean that those values need to differ between the versions, but it helped a bunch of internal scaling.
