Ever heard of this bug that changes player ratings?

In one of my leagues I'm playing the commissioner's team in the playoffs and one of my player's ratings suddenly changed from 80 to 45. When I asked them about it they said that sometimes a player's rating can go above the maximum amount and then be read as a 1 instead of a 251 and that this is a bug that they've seen multiple times.

I really love this league and don't want to leave it. Can someone please help me out and let me know if they've seen this bug as well?

It should not happen - we have many checks to prevent ratings from rolling over and I'm not aware of any cases where it should be able to happen. Was it just the scouting report that showed the difference, or was it in the underlying ratings? What rating was it?

Alright, thank you. It was their contact rating versus RHP. The commissioner said that it was just the scouting rating that went from 80 to 45 and not the underlying rating but they're the only person who's able to look at the underlying ratings because it's an online league.

Could you send me a link to the league file? Would certainly be curious to see what might be going on. Thanks

FYI this was not actually a bug. The commissioner admitted to changing the rating.
