Extra Innings Baseball (EIB) is entering our 43rd season and has an open team.

Started in 2013, the league is in week #2 of the regular season.

San Diego Padres
The San Diego Padres play in the most competitive divisions in EIB. The Giants, Dodgers, and Diamondbacks are all World Series champions and Colorado is always knocking on the playoff door.

The Padres finished 2055 with a record of 67-95, holding the #4 pick in this year's draft. With the 7th ranked farm system in the league, the Padres have the #3 overall prospect 2B Michael Hill and #58 prospect SP Edward Fisher in AA.

The Fearsome Friars are also financially stable, with $37m available for free agents and a payroll 28th in the league.

EIB
The league itself is quiet but competitive. There's not much chatter but remains competitive amongst the owners, a majority of who have been around for a long time.

Each MLB team has 7 minor league teams in the system, which provides good depth and development opportunities. The 7 day sims also allows you to set your lineups and pitching staff accordingly.

Also, the league winner receives a custom Tervis tumbler commemorating the season.
