AI started wrong pitcher!

I changed the starter well before the start of the 1st game today - an hour or two and submitted the team and it said successful. The team I was playing wasn't great against lefties so I put Vida Blue, also my #1 starter anyway, and the AI started Derek Lowe. Blue was also more rested so it shouldn't have had anything to do with that. Why does this happen and how do I prevent that?

I can’t explain the why especially if Blue is your #1 and was at 100%, but to prevent it you need to switch to strict order.

If for some reason Blue wasnt at 100% and you are set to “on occasion highest rested” the AI will automatically start a different pitcher.

The AI has lost more than 1 game for me with stupid decisions.

Lowe must have had 1 more point rest or something then. Oh well, on to next week...
