When I use the in-game editor to change player origins it always changes some of their ratings as well.
Is this how it is supposed to work? Is there another way to edit these without having the ratings changed? Thanks. |

I don't think it is changing the ratings. What happens when you turn the editor on is it will display the actual ratings. Your scouts are not always accurate - even the best, and when you turn the editor on, it will then change the ratings to display the actual, true ratings, not your scouts ratings. I believe this is what you are talking about, but I'm not sure. I hope this makes sense and answers your question.

Ok, that makes sense. I did a little experimentation to check it out and this is what I found:
1 - the changes in ratings did occur as soon as the editor was turned on and the change in origins therefore didn’t have anything to do with it. 2 - the changes in ratings remained even after the editor was turned back off but they did revert back to their initial settings after that particular player record was closed. In other words, I either went back to the roster page or to another player record and then back to the original guy and his ratings were set back as they were prior to any editing. 3 – it should be safe to assume that the ratings will always revert back in this manner so nothing negative is really happening. Thanks again. |
