Imported Players all retired?

I imported a number of players into OOTP22, and while they all landed on the right team with the right details, they are all marked as retired. Did I do something wrong on the import, or is there a field in the text file I need to update? Is this a problem others have had?

Never had this issue before. What year did you import them? Was it after they were retired?

I moved them over from a OOTP19 mlb rosters .txt file -- I was playing a fictional league with mlb players in 2015.

Certainly some of the players are retired now, and they show their actual MLB retired date in OOTP22, but plenty of them are not, and they still appear as retiring in 2021 once they are imported.

I've scoured the mlb-roster file and there is nothing in there to indicate retired either way, or at least nothing that is obvious.
