Can't change paths

I'm on Windows 10, the downloaded, non-Steam version, and nothing I do to move the file paths works. I've updated default_folders.ini, favorite_paths.cfg, paths.cfg, and recent_paths.cfg, tried moving my data to multiple places the game should have access to, and nothing works. Has anyone gotten this to work in OOTP 22?

It definitely works, I use multiple paths regularly in OOTP22.

Can you tell us exactly what you're doing when you try to change the path and what happens or doesn't happen t the end of the process (do you get an error message f.e.)?

It completely ignores my new paths. I moved the files to the new location, so it rebuilds the directory in the old location, using the default data. Which method did you use to change the paths?

You need to go in-game to 'settings' > 'troubleshooting' > then add the new path there, and then manually copy over some data files to the folder in the new path after that as per the instructions the game will give you after you switch the path.

that should work. It does for me, no problem.

Lukas, thank you for responding. Here's the Troubleshooting window I see. Where do I enter the new path?

Ack, sorry, my bad!

It's not on the 'troubleshooting' screen, rather on the 'expert' screen.

That worked! I saw that setting a hundred times, but figured it couldn't be it because of the below dialog box when you click on it. Word of advice - change the text at the top. It's asking for the new location of a /data folder, and there's already a folder called /data, so it seems like the last thing it would be referring to is that it is replacing the "\OneDrive\Documents4\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 22" folder.

Thanks so much for your help! Also, the help files all say to use the config files, not this option, so those need to be updated as well.
