Changing LTM's
I don't understand something about using LTM's. After you select a year and click the button to create modifiers, you can click the button again and the modifiers will change again...you can do this over and over.
It seems like, if I pick 2008 as a season to model and click the button, the modifiers that come up should remain static no matter how many times the button is clicked. What am I missing? |

It simulates three seasons (dice rolls) and adjusts the LTM's dependent on the stat out put.
You expect the dice to roll the same every time? Chance won't allow that, will it? |

I use to click it a couple times and if the base hit rate was very close to the first then I left it there if it was. Otherwise I would click it again and and go with that if it was between the other 2. It seemed to work out pretty well (end of season league stats) but somehow I got out of that habit. Maybe I"ll try it again. It seemed like the other ltm rates pretty much followed the base hit rate.

i too prefer static set of modifiers, but that takes a little time to hone. just know 1 changed modifier will impact other things. increasing hits will increase in proportional way based on current mods/totals each type of hit. If you want sttic modifiers, change things slowly... try not to react to small fluctuation, but anything that goes too far one way or the other, a little adjutment aand thought about domino effect, if necessary, does a body good. most of the majore offensive stats are +/-10%... again based upon a MLB-sized sample. larger, if smaller modifiers only travel well if very similar player creation settings and anything else that would impact talent levels in the leaague. otherwise, you won't get similar results due to a whole different player talent dynamic that unfolds. scaled properly, might work ok? |
