Frustrating, save function not working!

I got about 4 hrs in on my new team, "saved" the game and when I went back to load, it started me back at the beginning of the season. Tried a few times after to make sure it wasn't something I did wrong, and the save function is just not working at all for me. I really want to continue playing, but atm there's just no point.

My saving between games is working fine, but after the most recent update saving and quitting a game in the middle, results and the game restarting in a weird spot. Like all of the individual player stats are correct, but the game is in the wrong spot. Most recently, it started me in the top of the 0th (not a typo) But all the players stats correctly reflected that two innings had been played

I was coming here to post this, I think. I loaded in my save on my MLB franchise, shows I'm on game 21. Look at my players stats and they show playing 80+ games already. My save reset to April except for player stats. I'm on Android fwiw.

Still no fix on game save problem game save files are being corrupt at times

Yeah, no matter what now, when I save and quit a game in the middle, and then go back in, it says the top of the 0 inning

Can you sim past that current game and be fine for the next one?
