Perfect Team - recovering from other app usage
1) In Perfect Team, often when I switch to another app in my iPhone, do some "significant stuff" in that app, and then switch back to OOTP Go, the status is that it is "Simulating" and never leaves that status until I force OOTP Go to terminate. This happens very often.
2) Sometimes, in the above scenario, returning to the OOTP Go opening page and selecting Perfect Team requires me to log in again without any saved credentials. This happens occasionally. 3) I had one occasion in which the scenario in #1 above occurred and my roster changes did not save. Specifically, before I switched to the other app: a) I bought a very good pitcher in auction, specifically for the final game of a series against the #1 team in the division. b) I put the newly-signed pitcher in the active roster and in the rotation so he would come up next. c) I believe that I uploaded the roster changes but I'm not 100% sure. d) I then switched to another app. e) When I returned to the game, my newly-signed pitcher was inactive (not even in reserve) and another pitcher started (and lost) the game. Question: what should happen if I make changes to the rotation, lineup, depth chart, or active roster but do not upload it before the regular Simulation cycle occurs? I would assume that my old rotation and lineup would be used (since it was the last uploaded to the server) but that my changes would still appear on my app. If so, this did not happen in this scenario. iPhone 8+, iOS 14.5.1, Version 22.5.53 Build 44. |
