When a player gets injured or ejected in-game...

And you get the "incomplete lineup" message, how can I see which player needs to be replaced? I just get the message and the page to make substitutions, but can't see anything to indicate who needs to come out. It also locks you from going to the "game log" tab to see what happened (...why?).

Sometimes it shows you when it's an injury. Sometimes you just have no clue and no way to find out other than making an educated guess (like maybe the guy on base at 1st), but sometimes you guess wrong... and *then* the game reveals who was the true culprit all along by taking him out of the lineup!

Happens all the time when you're fast simming in-game (like I usually do for the first 3 innings in a regular season game, or doing a "half inning" sim when you're batting with a big lead, or when you're simming "until risp").

I have the same frustration. It would help if the impacted player were highlighted.

You can look at the blank spot in the lineup. Or look for the red cross or, I think the suspension is blue next to the player's name. And Box Score and Log tabs are available at the top of the substitution page. These work when playing out games. Don't know about swimming. But isn't there have a depth chart?

Yeah, I'm talking about cases when there is no blank spot, no red cross, and no blue nothing. And the game doesn't let you leave the substitution tab until you make a change, so the box score and game log tabs are inaccessible.

Absolutely. Or if he were simply removed from the lineup the moment he is ejected or whatever it is that happens to him.

This exact situation effected me in a game. I substituted for the pitcher, and it was not the position in peril.

What version of the game is this happening with? Is this a mac or linux issue? I play out all of my games on pc and have never had this happen.

Same. If a player is injured or ejected the lineup his lineup spot is always blank. (maybe it's DH lineup thing?)

Are you using the setting where you can see your entire roster, with players out of the game denoted in red? (and the red cross or the DTD one, if applicable)?

Will post soon as it happens again. I think it's just when you're doing Quick Play in a game and a guy gets ejected (but not suspended).

I have the same issue. For me when this happens it usually means the pitcher got hurt.

I've seen it once. I play out out all my games. I ended up swapping guys till it let me play. After reading the game log I discovered it was a player who got a "Day To Day" injury sliding into second for the last out.

I've had a couple of ejections lately during quicksim of innings, and the AI has taken the player out of the lineup. So either something got fixed, or the problem is very obscure and hard to replicate.
