Features not in GO
I hope it's okay to share some info Markus provided earlier to beta testers. He listed the features not in GO:
-No scouting system, all ratings are 100% accurate -No coaching system, so there are no managers / coaches -No facegen -Some league rules are disabled by default, for example the 40-man roster, waivers, Rule 5 draft etc. Most are available in the league settings screen though, if you enable the "advanced mode" inside the View menu. -No game recaps or WPA graphs except for in PT (which are generated on our sim servers) -No historical minor leagues, no historical lineups or transactions -No league expansion feature -No 3D ballpark construction kit -No baseball cards in solo mode -Simplified player editor without the ability to edit ratings |

The list is not exhaustive, of course. I can think of other features not included in GO. No commissioner mode. No record books (team, season, career, single game). No random debut mode. No historical exhibition mode. So, there's room to add more, if and when it is deemed feasible.

And it has been mentioned that at least some features will get added in over time

That said, GO is an incredible game, as is. Much more feature-rich than I ever expected.

Though on expansion its not so simple.
Historical has it but only if you have the relevant seasons. Custom/Standard game does but without the draft |

Features not in GO
Under the history option there is automatically expand the league and you can edit players on their card.
This is a more simplified version of the game that doesn’t have ALL the bells and whistles of the desktop version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, many of the missing features will be added in the following years... this is just version 1. But a pretty awesome version 1, in my humble opinion

My bummers are no commish mode or historical transactions. I did some single season replays on iOOTP/MLB Manager and to complete historical transactions I had to sometimes take over the team I needed to trade with and propose the trade, then switch back to the team I was originally managing. When I did the 84 Cubs I couldn't complete the trades that brought Eckersley and Sutcliffe to the Cubs as the Cubs GM.
I love random debut but have that chugging along on the desktop version. |

GO is a marvelous accomplishment! It packs a real punch, feature-wise. The closest thing to it is MLB Manager. But there's really no comparison. MLB Manager is like Single-A ball compared to the Big Leagues (OOTP GO!). Congratulations, Markus!

My vote for first addition is Commissioner Mode!

2. Commissioner mode option

I second this!
Commissioner mode (or at least the ability to edit player ratings) has always been one of my favorite parts of OOTP. The editor in MLB Manager was cumbersome, but at least it was there. I'm a long-suffering Mariners fan, so I like to give my guys a little boost sometimes in my historical replays. I also disagree very strongly with a lot of the defensive ratings (Griffey Jr. was a perennial Gold-Glover, but I've seen him as low as 45 and never higher than 65), and I'd like the freedom to change that by myself. |

It is completely awesome. I’m in the states I just made a Canadian Apple ID to get the game. The gameplay is amazing. I’ve been watching and reading on this and hoping forever. I still played the manager version. I can’t explain how great this is.

Is the historical leaderboard also missing or have I just missed that somewhere?
That is a crucial feature for historical sims in my opinion. |

Am I completely losing it (very possible) or is the Salaries screen not available from the Front Office menu? I can’t find it, and I figured it would be in here since I always found it extremely important. But that’s just me. :-)
