question on park dat and config
Which of these files contains the park ratings, and coordinates? I am using gforces's rosters, and may download the updated version but didn't want to have to mess w/the parks again. Is there one i can transfer from the league i have already made? Also, what can you use to look at these files? I think w/version 4 i used excel and they would open up, i haven't been able to get anything to open them up, excel, access, etc.

park ratings are in park.dat
park coords I believe (purely a guess) are in parkconfig.dat weather information is in weather.dat These assumptions are coming based on CommishJoe's exporter, which uses park.dat and weather.dat to export everything EXCEPT the park coords (hence why I think they are in parkconfig.dat). The .dat files (to my knowledge) will not open "readably" in any standard program, but you may have used the Version 4 exporter to get all the information in an excel format last year. The last patch has an export stadium feature where you should be able to export a stadium from one league and import it in a new league. |

Aye - just a small point about that - the exported data doesn't go to the EXPIMP directory, but to the root directory of your league. (Just in case you try and think it's not working.)
