Is this just not fixable?
For probably the fifth week in a row, the AI decides to start a pitcher who just pitched the last game, having gone deep into the game and, on at least two or three occasions, pitched a complete game. Of course, the pitcher is gassed and doesn't last out the first inning. It even happened in the bronze World Series last week. Then the next starter in line gets skipped over in the following game and things just go on. We're talking about a five-man rotation set to strict order. It seems that, just when I forget about it, it pops up again, just to give me the raspberries. Thankfully, it only seems to happen once or twice a season. Is it just so odd and rare that it is not fixable?

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to track down why this does occasionally happen. When it happens for you, is there anything else you can mention about when it does? Like, for example, does it happen when you are watching or actively logged in vs when you are away?
We've tried to reproduce this, but haven't figured out in what cases specifically it happens in (other than being somehow related to strict ordering), so haven't figured out what fix to apply. |

When this has happened to me its because I have "use 7 day lineups" set to on and I hadn't changed the SP.

Just happened again.
The second time around the rotation after the previous occurrence it happened again. In both cases the starter pitched a complete game victory, started the very next game, got shelled and left the game in the first. The scheduled starter's turn was skipped. The first time was the number one starter. This time it was the number four. I'm pretty much a hands off manager, due to my work schedule, but I will try to check more regularly to see if I can discern a pattern. It has always happened when I'm away. It's pretty easy to tell when it's happened because the number of starts will be off, and mine should be equal, since it's strict order. I'll keep checking each day around this time and will post null reports if it doesn't happen. Thanks for your attention. Good luck with finding it because this is a weird one.

It happened to me twice the other day. Iron Bo5 #4602 game 6 5th starter repeat starts and Iron Bo5 #4541 game 11 5th starter repeat starts. Is it a coincidence that it was the 5th starter both times(?) My feeling is that just logging on to check while 3 tournaments of the same type are active causes affects in another tournament you are NOT checking.

Nothing again today. I hadn't noticed anything odd during tournaments, but I don't really check them, just set the team up and let it go. My problems have occurred during regular PT league play. Also, when it has happened, the starter spot in the rotation has varied.

Again nothing, so I'll stop posting about it unless it comes up again.

Given that they've admitted the problem, you would think they could at least add a line of code to check the starting rotations of strict order teams to make sure the starter is actually rested. That would solve the problem even if they can't track down the bug?
