Someone Poached My Asst GM! No Alert?
My assistant GM was hired by another team to be there GM. . .which is fine except I didn't receive any notice at all?
Should this be reported somehow to me? |

This is an excellent question. I've lost minor league coaches with no notice until, during the offseason, I'm suddenly filling five or six slots.
I really like the realism of coaches moving up as they gain experience and reputation... but the player absolutely needs to be told, either through a PM or a league news item, that someone in their organization is highly-regarded and teams want to interview them for jobs higher-up on the ladder. If there's a setting for it, I haven't found it yet. This could also introduce a wrinkle where coach or organizations that don't "seek permission" can take a hit to their general reputation around the league, and it affects how the other AIs deal with them. |

I noticed this as well. Not having any type of alert is a problem.

Yes, I would think a resignation email from the Asst GM, or whoever, or some type of transaction notice should be received. Probably something lost in the shuffle of adding new features that needs correcting in a patch.

You should get an email message about it, both when he starts to consider the new job and when he actually leaves. It's possible that message gets skipped if you either delegate coach hiring to the AI or are in "do not disturb" mode, though. Are either of those in your situation?

I just had this dialogue (?) with one of my MiLB Managers. The first one came 4 days before the Dear John. He's 60, I wanted some fresh blood, so didn't counter. Then got the second email.
Nice touch, another special from the devs.

So I wonder why you are getting this message and others (myself included) are not. . .

I received notification from my AAA manager (as the above image) in my historical league too. I was given the option to keep the manager and I did, as the team was doing well.
