OK, an update on the PT Master Series registrations.
First - I want to thank everyone for the interest. The event filled completely in less than 45 minutes which is far beyond what we anticipated it would be. There has been plenty of feedback on just increasing the size of the event but unfortunately, due to the massive amount of manual work it takes to create and run these events, that's just not a feasible thing we can do at this time Second - we discovered there was an issue with the form on SurveyMonkey that allowed more than 256 teams to register. We reviewed each entry and the first 256 valid entries that we could verify in our internal systems (some people did not put a team or user name and were disqualified) have been accepted into the series. We understand that these things can always be improved upon in the future and this was another good learning experience for us in terms of managing expectations on how many people would be interested in competitive events. We apologize for any users who were not able to grab one of the spots and wish good luck to the 256 teams who will do battle starting on May 15th in the first Master Series event which will be BRONZE!

The first PTMS event will be set up today (as per my message above). Here are the placements for the event. Reminder, you do not need to do anything to enter, the event will be set up by our dev team and will show in your Tournament area once you have been registered. You will be able to set your line-up until 11am ET on Saturday, first pitch is set for 12pm ET. PLEASE log-in during the window before the event starts to ensure your roster has imported properly/no submission errors.

For those wondering about the point system for each event, here it is
o 1st – automatic qualification for finals – 50 points o 2nd – 40 points o 3rd-4th – 35 points o 5th-8th – 30 points o 9th-16th – 20 points o 17th-32nd – 10 points o 33rd-64th – 5 points o 65th-128th – 1 point We have created a dedicated standings page that will be updated after each event has been completed and validated by the tournament committee - https://www.ootpdevelopments.com/pt-22-master-series/

The PTMS standings page has been updated with the results of qualifier #1. Congrats to cwhitman and revmod for winning their respective bracket and qualifying for the finals!
