Importing of OOTP XX Into OOTP 21.

I've received the great news regarding the arrival of OOTP 22. However, before I move on there's a problem I have to solve first.

I've been a user since OOTP 19 on my iMAC. Import of past games (i.e., Seasons) from OOTP 19 into OOTP 20 went smoothly. When I went to follow the same procedure from OOTP 20 into OOTP 21 something was askew.

When I select "Import OOTP 20 Game" a window appears with a notation at the top of the window saying, "Select world.dat file from OOTP 20 League Folder...". The problem is that the world.dat file is not on the list, with the last alphabetical option being "world templates".

I've Googled trying to find a solution but I run into a lot of 404 error messages or for importing to a PC, complete with thorough and explicit to follow, the same instructions for an iMac the request showing, "Need some help here".

Pointing me in the right direction would be great and any and all help would be much appreciated, not only by me but by others who may run into this problem, be able to do a "search title" of the subject and solve their own problem.

You may be in the wrong folder. You must first be in saved_games then clicking on any league in that list will show world dat.

See attached. If I click on any league, world.dat appears at the bottom.

This is screensave from OOTP 21:

The only two seasons shown are the previous season played (1937) and the current season I'm playing (1976), both on OOTP 21. There have been seven seasons played that did import into OOTP XX from OOTP 19.

What is the problem here and how do I go about fixing?

My latest problem is that I can't figure out how to drag the screensave from Desktop into my reply.

You've got to find the folders where the game files are. See this screen shot. I have several hundred going back many versions.

I can navigate to my HDD, SSD, USB drives and one drive folders and if it finds a *.lg folder clicking on that will show world.dat. Just be sure it's the right version.

It would help to see what you see.
