Player Development Report Doesn't Match Actual Ratings
The player development report from my scout does not match the actual ratings in the player's profile.
I thought maybe it was a glitch so I restarted but the values did not refresh. This bug really sucks for me because I rely heavily on the player development report each month. Now I can't trust the content of the report and will need to re-examine each player separately. |

Here is another example. The development reports seems really off. You can see that the player profile scouted at "Very High" shows different ratings from the report.
I've seen in the past that saving, going to the OOTP start screen and reloading the game sometimes refreshed the ratings in the player profile but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. |

I finally figured out what's going on here. I sometimes switch a player's "Rating relative to" option to the league he is currently in. If I don't change it back, the development report seems to use that level as a guide for ratings information. I had left it on low minors and proceeded to the end of the month and suddenly I had a bunch of players >10 in ratings (I use a 1-10 scale).
So I think the best option should be always show a development report relative to the Major League level. If you want to get fancy, it could always be relative to the league the player is in, or provide the user with an option, but I think that's overkill. |
