Crash when creating regional team for tournament

Trying to bring back an idea I haven't done since OOTP19 for a tournament with teams representing states and countries but the game crashes to desktop every time I try to assign a region to a team.

Steps to replicate:

Game Settings > Global Actions > Add new tournament
Team selection > Fixed
Roster Source > By team region
Team region > pick anything and game crashes to desktop.

Tried a workaround by creating the tournament, then adding a region to the team once it was created but no dice.

Have found the temporary workaround for this - create the tournament but don't assign any regions to teams. Then add the regions manually on the team page - not as quick but it will get the job done until fixed.
