Ootp 23

I know that OOTP 22 just came out but doing a play through in Franchise mode I wish we had the option to restructure a players contract and add promotional dates to our schedule. Just some thoughts.

First I would definitely recommend going to the forum for future suggestions. With that said I have a couple of questions.

For the restructure option can you clarify what you are wanting to do? I for one would love more contract options to be in the game.

Also the promotional dates suggestion. Are you talking about things like bobblehead days and such? This use to be a feature way back, back when we could get married and have kids, and I agree it would be great to create promo days. I for one would love to have an owner mode implemented in the game.

I miss this feature. Scheduling promotions was probably the only strictly fan-oriented front office task we've ever had in OOTP.

What could be more fan-oriented than setting ticket prices?

I’m wondering if, by restructuring, he means similar to the NFL. This isn’t something that is common in the MLB. I can’t think of any instances of restructuring in the MLB. Alex Rodriguez possibly, but that was also because the Yankees just wanted him to go away.

Yes something along those lines or do a Bobby Bonilla deal, LOL. I know it very very rarely ever happens in baseball but it would be an interesting option.

As far as promo days go yes I mean a Bobblehead day, cap day, Jersey day, or if you have a fan favorite that is retiring and want to honor him have a game celebrating him.
