Promotions for fans?
This might be a corny idea and might not be worth mentioning, but I thought OOTP might be more immersive if promotional dates were announced, maybe in the news?
I thought bobblehead, tshirts, jerseys, magnet schedule, bat night, etc. Maybe individual bobbleheads could be random like how players start their own restaurant, have injuries, etc. in the newsfeed. I dont know if I explained that right or not. And teams would be random for jerseys, tshirts, etc. Anyway, I thought something like that would make OOTP more realistic since baseball and promotions go hand in hand. JMO |

I was thinking about this the other day. As a GM of a team with low attendance, it would be nice to be able to schedule some promotions throughout the season to get some sellouts. Why were they taken out?

I might be off, but in real life teams have promotions pretty regularly. Like all the teams, all the time, so it becomes more realistic for the sim to just assume teams are marketing and promoting every game as much as they can.
