Cannot add player to playoff roster

I have a spot available on my playoff roster, but get an error when trying to add certain players who are eligible.

Players I was specifically trying attempting to add were Lane Thomas or Randy Arozarena. None of the players listed as available (with the '&') who were not on the 26-man ML roster, could be placed on the playoff roster.

Am I missing something?

You need to add them to active roster first, then you will be able to add them to playoff roster. You might have to option someone to AAA to make room on the active roster however, so be careful not to burn an option year on someone just to do so.
