Hey that's awesome! I'm pretty jealous. I've been playing since '06 and I've yet to see a run-down, or brawl or perfect game.

Neat, saw my first one last week. Runners on 2nd & 3rd, 1 out.
Sac fly, runner from 3rd scores, runner from 2nd gets into a run down trying to go for 3rd. Kewl thing was the runner wound up getting out of the run down and making it to 3rd safely. |

It is pretty rare. I think I've seen only two of them and none in this version of the game. Still very early for this version, though. Both run downs were between 2nd and 3rd.

Until this year I rarely if ever watched 3d (or 2d for that matter) action. This time around I do it almost every 5th or 6th game and two days ago I was thrilled to see rundown. Shockingly awesome. My team had runners at the corners. Sacrifice fly on a full count to left field results in a run scored and runner in a pickle between first and second. Guy scrambles safely back to first. Amazing to see it in a game.

I've been playing the game for many years and I'm pretty sure I saw one several years ago. Now playing 22 I saw one. both times runner was out.

that's pretty cool, I've not seen a rundown either.
Did any of you guys who saw the rundown notice how it was scored in the play by play log of the game? Was a rundown mentioned, did they mention the all the players who handled the ball during the play? |

If you open english.hml you can search for the word rundown and see possible play-by-play lines.

I saw a short blooper down the third base line where the 3rd basemen jumps up and misses the ball. Previous versions he'd just be there not moving.

Playing against the Mets I had a rundown between 1st and 2nd involving Alonso. He ended up sliding safely back to 1st. It started as a line drive single to right and he took to big a turn. Harper fired the ball back in to 1st and started the rundown. Chased him to 2nd, then chased him back to 1st, he dove for the bag and was called safe.
