Skins

Alright, I just purchased OOTP5 finally. Well soon as I started playing, I noticed it is hard as hell to see the text. Now I tried downloading some skins but none are that easy to read as well. Basically I'm asking does anyone out there have or had this problem before and what did they do to fix this? Maybe there is a default.bmp that makes it easier to read the text, but if anyone knows anything, drop me a line. I also tried to get to the adventureran site but looks like it is down right now.

Try turning off D3D. D3D makes everything transparent and hard to read. If you wanna keep D3D try downloading either the Twins, Drays, or Phillies skin from www.baseballsimcentral.com I have to run D3D because my monitor is from the dark ages and those skins should work fine for reading text. Also, be sure to run OOTP in 1064x786 or whatever that resolution is. That should fix the problems.
