MODS Question

If I have bought OOTP 22 via Steam, can I use player pics, uniforms, etc mods provided here on forums or do I have to wait for workshop? Also, if I can do from here, how would I do it? Thanks.

Good question! I’m hoping someone answers this soon. I’m wondering which version to buy.

Yes you can. Basically everything is in the Data folder, which you can find by going to Settings > Troubleshooting > "Open Folder Containing Customizable Data"

Uniforms and logos can be set manually by going to the home page of each team and selecting the settings tab > click the "modify team colors etc" button.

Eventually the Steam Workshop will do some/most? of it automatically for you.

Ok, thanks. This was a good answer. I now remember years back before I started buying on Steam that I had to do add photos, uniforms, etc manually for players and teams after putting the files in data files. I'll wait for the workshop.

The following folders can be copied from each version of OOTP yourself if you want

Ballcaps, Ballparks, FG_Files, Jerseys, Logos, Photos, Schedules.

I've copied over each every year. This way I'll always have my custom jerseys and FG files every year
